Illiterate Gone Wild
Apparently the word spread about the opening last Friday of Illiterate's debut exhibit: Where The Wild Things Art. The people came, and came and came and kept coming until the hallway at 82. S Broadway looked more like a busy bus terminal than an art gallery. In many ways Friday night's opening was another Illiterate arts event - doors opened at 7PM, renovations ended at 8PM and the place was packed with inquisitive faces by 9PM - the paramount difference from our past bashes; when we said goodbye at the end of the night, we could do so with a hospital farewell, "come back anytime".
