Illiterate had an idea. It was simple, sexy and subversive: invite local musicians to cover the material of other local artists in a one night only auditory orgy. Immediately questions mounted: How many Denver musicians were really up for a collaborative song swap? How would they handle the challenge? Would they honor their fellow performers with heartfelt renditions, or lampoon the competition in a community karaoke night?
